Amano Restaurant

This was a super exciting but complex conversion of a grade 2 listed pub into a stylish bar and restaurant  with four unique hotel rooms upstairs. Translation of Amano is ‘Made by hand’. The offering was paired back, unfussy Italian food. We wanted to create a sense of classic rustic Italian courtyard meets contemporary Italian restaurant. We excavated a basement for BOH areas and converted the external courtyard into a contemporary timber clad extension. We paired this with a beautiful clay wall finish, green plant wall, marble table tops and fully bespoke joinery throughout.
