This house was initially presented as a detached 1960’s chalet bungalow in a sleepy cul-de-sac. The brief was to convert it into a ‘Grand designs style house’ making the most of its elevated position, fabulous sea and countryside views as well as an expanse of space. The final result was an open plan LA inspired interior full of light and space which frames the views at all opportunity while the exterior presents as a full blackened timber clad statement of modern design.
